Terms of Service

Last updated August 26, 2026

These terms cover how we work together when you hire automations.help. They're written to be read, not to hide anything — plain language, honest commitments.

The agreement

automations.help is a done-for-you AI and automation service run by Cory Watkins-Suzuki, a sole proprietor in Los Angeles, California (“we,” “us”). By hiring us or using this site, you agree to these terms.

What we do

We set up behind-the-scenes systems for small businesses — instant missed-call text-back, automatic follow-ups, online booking and reminders, review requests, and, on request, an inbound AI receptionist. We build these for you and, where you choose, run them month to month.

The free consult and plan

The 15-minute call and the written automation plan are free and carry no obligation. The plan is yours to keep whether or not you hire us, and anything we discuss about your business is kept in confidence.

Quotes and pricing

The prices shown on this site are starting points. Before any paid work begins, we agree in writing on the exact scope and price for your project. You'll always know what something costs before you owe anything.

The First-Build Guarantee

We put the first build in writing — exactly what it must do — as part of your plan. If that first build doesn't do what we agreed, you don't pay for it, and any deposit you paid is refunded in full. The guarantee covers the first build doing what was specified; it is not a guarantee of specific business results (see “No guarantee of results” below).

Payments, deposits, and cancellation

  • One-time builds may require a deposit (typically half) before work starts, with the balance due on completion. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Monthly services — for example the messaging line or an AI receptionist — are billed month to month. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future charges and is not retroactive for the current period.
  • Except where the First-Build Guarantee applies, fees for work already completed are non-refundable.

What you own

You own what we build. Wherever possible we build inside your own accounts and hand you the keys, with documentation. One-time builds owe nothing monthly and aren't locked to us. If you stop a monthly service, the setup we built stays yours.

Third-party tools and fees

The systems we build usually run on third-party platforms — your booking software, your messaging provider, Google, Stripe, and so on. Their own terms, availability, and fees apply, and those subscription costs are separate from what you pay us.

Text messaging and the AI receptionist

Where we set up text messaging on your behalf, you're responsible for using it lawfully — messaging only people who have consented, honoring opt-outs, and following applicable rules such as the TCPA and carrier requirements. We set things up to support compliant use, but the messages you send are your responsibility.

The AI receptionist we offer answers inbound calls only. We do not build outbound AI-voice calling.

No guarantee of results

We build reliable systems, but we can't and don't promise specific business outcomes — a particular number of leads, bookings, reviews, or revenue. What we guarantee is that the first build does what we agreed it would do.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our work for anything unlawful, deceptive, or abusive, including sending messages to people who haven't consented to receive them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply going forward.
